About 4,200 kilometers southwest of Hawaii, American Samoa is known for its stunning landscapes and rich culture. However, on this land which is home to around 40,000 people, the LBJ Tropical Medical Center, the only comprehensive hospital in the territory, faced months of operating without a CT scanner. Neusoft Medical Systems addressed this by delivering the NeuViz 128 CT to American Samoa.

 

Amid humid conditions, unstable power, and limited infrastructure, Neusoft Medical Systems' USA team, along with local partners, equipped the system with climate control and a full-room UPS, ensuring reliable operation. Installation was swift, and clinical training enabled staff to quickly master the device.
