West China Hospital and Neusoft Medical Forge Strategic Partnership to Drive Medical Innovation

On April 23rd, West China Hospital of Sichuan University (referred to as "West China Hospital") and Neusoft Medical formally signed a strategic cooperation agreement. The two parties will establish the "West China Hospital-Neusoft Medical High-end Medical Equipment and Hospital Quality Development Innovation Center" together. Its goal is to promote innovative applications in high-end medical equipment and medical imaging artificial intelligence, accelerating the development of innovative clinical diagnosis and treatment paradigms.

As a top-tier comprehensive hospital, globally and in China, West China Hospital has ranked first in China's Hospital Science and Technology Evaluation Metric (STEM) ten consecutive years, and second in Fudan University's Best Hospitals in China fourteen consecutive years. West China Hospital boasts strong

clinical diagnosis and treatment capabilities and a background in medical research.

Building upon this foundation, the two parties will establish a strategic cooperation relationship in the fields of production, education, research, and medicine. The two parties will collaborate in three major areas:

1. Innovative applications of high-end medical imaging equipment

2. Development of a new generation of intelligent image processing service platforms

3. Construction of smart hospital systems based on multimodal large models

This cooperation aims to lead the innovation of high-end medical equipment and clinical diagnosis and treatment, and to set a benchmark for collaborative innovation between production and medical care.

As this cooperation deepens with time, both parties aim for breakthroughs in equipment innovation, AI, medical research, and clinical applications. This will accelerate the development of high-end medical equipment, expand quality medical resources, promote regional development, and benefit patient health globally.
